Disappearing? November 1, 2022

Arranged from "most" to "least," only fourteen states reported any Covid-19-related deaths yesterday. Link here.

Texas had only two Covid-19-related deaths yesterday. In the entire US, only 201 new Covid-19-related deaths.

WTI -- November 1, 2022

The tea leaves certainly suggest we could see significantly higher WTI prices tomorrow.

WTI has been creeping up all evening. Currently up 1.4%; up $1.19; trading at $89.56.

This is the API data that has some folks in Washington very, very nervous.

If EIA data corroborates this in the a.m., "Katy, bar the door."

On the other hand, if the EIA does not, it will raise even more questions.

Meanwhile, refiners making money, hand over fist, as they say,

Didn't MPC just raise their dividend from 58 cents to 75 cents?
