The Political Page, T+65 -- March 27, 2017

The Art Page

This is the very first painting that Sophia, who will be three years old this summer, has actually told us what she painted. She paints often but never tells us what she has painted. This one, she says, is simply, the "sun." You can see the bright yellow sun beyond the flowers. I think she has painted three cardinals on three reeds, but my wife says they are tulips.

  1. Bravo Sophia! I like it, you can quit your day job now.

    1. Thank you. The plan now is to lithograph this and print 6" by 6" reproductions to cover a 12-foot x 12-foot canvas -- it will be just the way Warhol did his lithographs.

She is sending a request for venture capital to George Soros since he seems to have deep pockets for such initiatives.

By the way, Sophia's older sister (the middle granddaughter) is on her way to becoming a community organizer. Her first project is a fairly sizeable community garden at her school.
