A Credible Source Suggests The Site Selected For The $4 Billion Plastics Plant Is "Bismarck"

I just got a very, very nice note suggesting that the site the company has selected for the new plastics plant is "Bismarck." The note included a link to the source for the information.

I'll let folks think about this awhile, and then post the source later. There's a reason to this madness, the way I do this.

A huge thank-you to the reader for sending me the note.

I will be off the net for awhile; taking my granddaughter swimming but I can usually get a wi-fi connection there.

  1. In case the link breaks, the entirety of the link: Fargo's Hector International Airport sets another monthly record for passengers http://www.prairiebizmag.com/event/article/id/21282/ … @fargoairport #pbiz

  2. That is correct. I also noted that the company was moving HQ to Denver. I missed the part that they had been located in California. Thank you. Very, very interesting. Many, many story lines. I simply can't post fast enough. Did you see that ND set a new production record? Monthly and daily.

  3. Yes on the new production record. We are seeing so much in the headlines today about the price of oil slipping big time and a lot of "uh ohhhhs" from people hoping to see western north dakota go bust...but I think it is a lot of hoopla. Unless oil drops to $50-60 bucks a barrel. 90% of the drilling taking place in ND are in the 4 major proudcing counties of McKenzie, Mountrail, Dunn and Williams. The costs have come down and can drill and explore even if the prices drop. However, it could affect any fringe areas outside the 4 major core counties until prices go up again. But in the meantime, I don't think people need to go into panic mode.

    1. Agree 100%. It was much worse during the early day of the Bakken boom. My biggest concern remains policies coming out of Washington, DC, and Bismarck, ND. The EPA would down the Bakken in a New York minute if it could.
