Nine (9) New Permits -- The Williston Basin, North Dakota, USA

Remember: my "milliondollarway" URL was "stolen" by a spammer. I am now using "http://themilliondollarway.blogspot.com."  The basic blog is back up and running but a lot of internal links will take you to spam. If you really want to see those old posts, cut and paste "themilliondollarway.blogspot.com" into the "milliondollarway.com" part of the URL address. Over time, I will get most of it fixed.

If you are still having trouble, write me at my e-mail address which is posted at the blog.

Active rigs: 187 (steady)

Nine (9) new permits --
  • Operators: XTO (4), Fidelity (2), EOG (2), American Eagle
  • Fields: Colgan (Divide), Heart River (Stark), Siverston (McKenzie), Parshall (Mountrail)
  • Comments: More and more, the new permits are for areas well known to be better areas of the Bakken. The two EOG wells will be placed in this section where there is only one well:
  • 16795, 1,519, EOG, Austin 4-09H, Parshall, t12/07; cum 563K 4/13;
Wells coming off the confidential list today were posted earlier; see sidebar at the right.

I think the most interesting items from today's daily activity report had to do with two KOG wells.
