Wells To Watch, Part II

I will no longer be updating "Wells to Watch, Part I." "Wells to Watch, Part I" has become too unwieldy, but it has served its purpose.

Wells are no longer being added to this page; the page is seldom updated.

    1. what can you tell me about Milloy 1-15H Williams County ND?

    2. If you use "Firefox" brower, there is a search application on "blogger" at the upper left (the little white area with a magnifying glass). Type in Milloy and it will take you to all my posts where Milloy is mentioned. To go through the posts quickly, there is another search application at the bottom left of the blog when you use the drop down "Edit" to "find." Type in "Milloy" there and you can go through the postings very quickly.

I would assume MS IE and Safari browsers have the same search capabilities.

Milloy 1-15H is in one of the smaller fields in North Dakota, the Hebron oil field, northwest of Williston, the heart of the Bakken. I have been out there numerous times.

Great photos of the area can be found here:
      http://milliondollarway.blogspot.com/2010/08/photos-of-hebron-oil-field-stedman.html

Updates of the Hebron field can be found at the link at the sidebar on the right:
      http://milliondollarway.blogspot.com/2010/05/hebron-update.html

Of the Hebron oil wells, the Milloy 1-15H, #18966, is near the Montana border, along with Fasching 1-22H, #18964.

The Milloy 1-15H is still on the confidential list; there is a rig on site for the Fasching 1-22H well (January 17, 2011).

Both wells are Continental Resources wells. I assume both wells will be about the same as the other Hebron wells. If so, their IPs will come in at about 750. Wells in this area have an estimated ultimate recovery of about 500,000 bbls. CLR says their wells cost about $7 million.

GEOI recently completed an 18-stage well for $5.6 million.

It is possible someone on the Bakken Shale Discussion Group board (line on the sidebar at the right) will have more information, especially if they live in the area. No one lives in the immediate area so no one will see what is going on with the pad and the tanks unless they make a special trip out there.
